Sauer provides mechanical, structural and general construction services to the Aerospace Industry. For over 30 years, Sauer has maintained a continuous presence at Kennedy Space Center, FL and Cape Canaveral Air Force Base, FL. Since then, Sauer has expanded it’s aerospace services to include Johnson Space Center, TX, Marshall Space Flight Center. AL, and Vandenberg Air Force Base, CA.

In complement to our Aerospace work, Sauer offers AISC-certified specialty steel and aluminum fabrication from our facilities in Oak Hill and Jacksonville, Florida. We maintain welder certifications in many types of materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, chrome alloy, titanium and hastalloy. Our craftsman are skilled in a variety of procedures, including T.I.G., S.M.A.W, M.I.G. and fusion.

We have been extremely successful in combining our structural and mechanical expertise into an integrated fabrication facility that allows us to pursue complex and challenging fabrications and assemblies. Most of our work is performed by our in house craftsmen except for machined components and rolling of members, which are performed by a few select companies.

“This was an extremely difficult project with a huge amount of work required to be completed in a very short time. This schedule performance is unprecedented in the space launch industry…I consider Sauer to be our most valued contractor and deem them critical to the overall Mission success of the Atlas V launch vehicle program...Sauer has continued their outstanding performance in all key areas. This performance has also been noted and very much appreciated by our Air Force Customer" -Engineering Manager, Atlas V Launch Vehicle Program
