William N. Steitz Jr.

William N. Steitz Jr., CEO and President of Sauer Inc., has been with the company since 1978.  He has held previous positions such as Estimator, Project Engineer, Project Manager and Vice President of Operations.  His operations experience includes diverse projects such as a Mini-mill for North Star Steel in Toledo, OH, a Clean room for Delco Electronics in Kokomo, IN, and a Combined Cycle Cogen plant for Fina Oil in Big Spring, TX.  Mr. Steitz became President of the company in 1992.

Mr. Steitz is responsible for the overall strategic growth and operations of Sauer Inc.’s operating divisions.  He oversees strategic planning for the entire company and the management of Sauer Inc.’s corporate group.  The Corporate Group provides Financial Management, Sales/Marketing, Safety, IT, Payroll, and HR services for the operating units.
